A client needed a website to promote products with Amazon that have several criteria:
- Responsive Child Theme development for any WordPress theme.
- Author and editors photos and bio from WordPress user profile with custom plugin:
- Оn the homepage should be section with the Latest Posts (from 3 to 9), section with Popular Categories with selected posts in every choosen category.
- MegaMenu on the top of site:
- Posts have featured image after title and date of last updates. There is a table of contents at the top of the article section. The client needed a contact form to send feedback from any user in the right sidebar:
- Posts are published by the authors, but the facts described in the post must be verified by the editors. After editor’s check, a ‘Fact Checked‘ button and a editor’s photo appear in the post with a link to the ‘Our Team’ page.
- When a user clicks on the Fact Checked button, he sees a modal window with text customizable in the WordPress dashboard:
- For each post author, editor or administrator can choose some of related posts:
On the site you can find this option on the post bottom with the title ‘Also Read’:
- Category pages and the homepage should have a large background image + a big field for AJAX searching the site.
- Category page have the list with this category posts:
- The footer has 3 columns. On the right and left columns are the images, and in the center — the bottom menu with a brief description of the site.
- Add Subscribe Form to the Homepage and every Post page after activation plugin:
- Fast loaded site (PageSpeed Insights test):
- Delete all unused fonts;
- Delete some styles;
- Compress CSS and JS files
- Caching all pages and posts
- Lazy-loading images
